Who's behind Postod

Postod is built by Adrian Romanov — an entrepreneur from Warsaw and creator of technology projects. The operator is PAG sp. z o.o. (KRS 0001204506).

The idea was born because I travel a lot myself — sometimes the sheer pile of matters, or reading a letter while on the road, means I can't reply right away, and later I simply forget about it. So I decided to build a tool that lets you answer a letter on the spot, even mid-flight — especially the convoluted official ones — and if you don't, it keeps reminding you until the matter is closed.

Frequently asked questions

What is Polish e-Delivery (e-Doręczenia)?

It's the electronic equivalent of a registered letter with proof of receipt. From 1 January 2026 Polish authorities send correspondence to an e-Delivery address — with no paper notice in your letterbox.

The key change: a letter you don't open within 14 days is legally deemed delivered, and deadlines (e.g. for an appeal) keep running — even if you don't know about the letter.

Do I need an e-Delivery mailbox to use Postod?

No. If you have an e-Delivery mailbox, Postod will watch it automatically. If you don't — photograph a paper letter and the app works exactly the same: it summarizes it, catches the deadline and helps you reply. We'll also help you set up a mailbox when you're ready.

What about paper letters?

You take one photo and Postod reads the letter, translates it into plain language and watches the deadline — the same as with electronic letters. Paper and e-Delivery live in one inbox.

Are my data and letters safe?

Yes. Official letters are sensitive data, so: encryption, servers in the European Union, no selling of data and no third-party access. You authorize access to your e-Delivery mailbox yourself and can revoke it at any time.

How much will Postod cost?

The basic plan will be free forever — including what matters most: inbox monitoring and free deadline reminders. Premium features (plain-language summaries, translations, reply drafts, automation) will come as a subscription announced at launch. Founding members (first 300 sign-ups) get a lifetime 50% discount on paid plans.

How is Postod different from the official e-Delivery SMS notifications?

The e-Delivery system notifies you that a letter is waiting — and that is where its role ends. Postod starts where the SMS stops: it extracts the deadline from the letter and the consequence of missing it, guards it with escalating reminders until the matter is closed, summarizes the letter in plain language and prepares a draft reply. The system notifies you about the envelope — Postod takes care of the case.

How does Postod connect to the e-Delivery mailbox?

Through the official, open API of the Polish e-Delivery system (User Agent API). The mailbox owner authorizes the app themselves in the permissions module and can revoke access at any time. A mailbox isn't required — you can also simply photograph a letter.

Is Postod just another e-Delivery mailbox?

No. You already have a mailbox (the government one or a commercial one from a qualified provider) — Postod connects to it and adds what mailboxes don't do: understanding the letter, guarding the deadline until the matter is closed, and a draft reply. The mailbox stores — Postod takes care of the case.

Is this legal advice?

No. Postod is a support tool: it translates, reminds and prepares drafts for your approval. For complex or high-stakes matters we explicitly suggest consulting a lawyer or legal counsel.
